  1. Myth #1 - “A sales page is too long–no one will read it.” This is partially correct. Most people don’t read an entire sales page during their first read through. What gets them to reread and stick around is the carefully constructed conversion copy woven in to keep them around. A great, on-brand sales page will speak to all four types of buyers and speak to them directly

  2. Myth #2 - “A copywriter can’t capture my brand voice or will sound too salesy.” As someone who’s always avoided the salespeople in mall kiosks selling hair straighteners (anyone else straighten their hair to death before realizing their natural curls are beautiful?), I can’t stand anyone who’s pushy and doesn’t understand the word no. We sell with empathy here, meaning that we get to know you and your brand on a deeper level to create copy that sounds like you and doesn’t sound like an infomercial. 

  3. Myth #3 - “I can do it myself.” You can! A sales page is long-form conversion copy, meaning that they are roughly 2,500 words or longer. It’s a lot of words for someone who doesn’t love to write or hasn’t had the training and experience that goes into creating a sales page that converts. So yes, you and your team can do it yourselves but honestly…do you really want to?

We start our project with a Kickoff Call where we’ll go over your onboarding questionnaire, my research findings, and any questions you may have. Your part of the work is done, and now I can begin assembling your sales page and launch emails (if we’re doing both).  

Try Time

And we’re done! You’ll have up to two rounds of edits so we have plenty of time to get it just right. And if you don’t have a designer for your sales page, I have a list of professionals I recommend.

From Rugby Player to Entrepreneur

Rugby’s a rough sport. At 5’3” and 115 pounds, I’ve always been a small player and I’ve never liked feeling like I’m at a disadvantage because I want to be a hard hitter. But I never let that stop me from playing. 

Although I’ve taken a lot of beatings (I’ve been stomped on, gotten my hair pulled, torn muscles and ligaments, broken over ten bones, and had one surgery), I’ve taken the lessons rugby has given me and translated them into my business model. You can’t play soft in rugby just like you can’t do anything tentatively in business. You have to give it your best effort and keep getting back up when you fall. 

I’m Melissa, conversion copywriter, marketing strategist, and semi-retired rugby player. My more formal achievements include a national championship, representing the United States in two World Cups, and the opportunity to represent my parents’ home country El Salvador in Olympic qualifiers.

  • I do! If you feel more comfortable splitting the payment in two, we can do that. The first half is due upon signing the contract and the second half is due by our Kickoff Call date. If you need an additional payment plan option, let me know and we can work something out.

  • Easy—fill out an application from the button below and I’ll get back to you ASAP. We’ll get on a discovery call to see if we’re a good fit, or you can go straight to booking a slot with me.

  • From you? Not much. Your onboarding questionnaire is your only homework assignment. It’s customized to your project and is designed to highlight your offer.

    Once I receive your questionnaire, and additional materials, I’ll get started on the research intensive. By the time we get on our Kickoff Call, I’ll have already done a deep dive into your offer and interviewed three of your students. As long as I have all the necessary information, your sales page will be ready within two weeks.

  • Yes! From the pre-pre-launch emails to the checkout and last chance emails, social media copy and ads, I write it all. My price for this add-on is $1,550.

  • Whether you invest in a copywriter or not, you need a sales page to display what your offer is all about with personality and conversion techniques weaved in. A smaller ticket course can have a great launch if the sales page is converting well (and you can use it for years!). You can always give it a shot yourself, and if you’re not seeing the results you want you know exactly where to find me.

  • Maybe. If you haven’t done any beta testing then there isn’t any voice of customer research for me to utilize, which is crucial for a great sales page. Your first launch has valuable information and you may adjust your course accordingly which would change your sales page.

  • During our Kickoff Call, I get to know you better: your quirks, your personality, and what makes you unique. I’ve created great copy by taking the time to listen to my clients so I can unravel their thoughts into a cohesive stream of consciousness. And with research calls with your favorite students, we’ll get a fresh perspective as to why you and your course are amazing.

  • I gotchu. I’m not a fan of the “sales bro” mentality and don’t like screaming in caps to try to make a sale. At MEO Marketing Group we sell with integrity–meaning that your copy will sound like you to guide your ideal clients into buying your program because they feel understood, not coerced.

  • Yes, definitely! There are so many service providers that need a great sales page. My approach to writing sales pages allows your personality to shine through while connecting with readers so they can envision the transformation they’ll receive with your program or product.
